The owners are lovely people and so appreciate of feedback! I had recommended that they include salted everything bagels as part of their choices. The next day, they started selling them and were so thankful! The quality of the bagels are great and fresh!!

Great service at this family friendly deli. Food is fresh and delicious! Bagels are the best! Had a chiclen sandwich last week, and the chicken had great flavor!!!

Good portions, fresh bagels and good coffee. Staffs always friendly. Come here as a regular on the weekends to sit down for a bacon egg and cheese and an iced coffee

"I have been eating breakfast or lunch 3-4 days per week at Bagelman over the past 8 years. Their employees are exceptionally nice people and always provide great service. I honestly don't ever recall having a bad meal. My day starts off with a great cup of coffee. I'm still enjoying that special blend after all these years. My food choices include their great bagels, omelettes, lox, chicken salad and Whitefish. Several times a year, I order 2-3 pounds of Chopped Liver for my family. Nobody makes it better than Bagelman! Let's not forget their fresh baked muffins and cookies on a daily basis. I highly recommend them for breakfast, lunch and catering your next party.

I've only been here a couple of times, but my oh my, does this spot hit the spot! (Pun intended, I think?) I would LOVE to go all out and get a bagel sandwich with lox, cream cheese, and all of the fixings, but since it's a little more costly, I opted for their bagel with lox cream cheese for half the price, and it still hit all of those glorious notes. The bagel, I got the everything bagel, was super fresh and warm, and the lox cream cheese had a generous dose of the lox that I was wholeheartedly dreaming about -- those foodie desires are real, let me tell ya. They were pretty busy when I went on Sunday morning, but once one of the workers got wind that I was waiting, she swiftly got my order ready right away and was super kind. They also have spacious booths to dine in as well, and I always love a window seat, heh. If anyone is craving a breakfast or brunch treat, definitely *treat* yourself at the BagelMan in Merrick!

Excellent service when we call ahead in the morning! Always quick and on point. The healthy bagel, everything, cinnamon raisin, and egg everything are so fresh and tasty!

Been putting off writing this review for far too long. While we live in North Merrick and there are quite a few bagel places between us and Bagelman, centrally located on Merrick Ave (next to Outback) - it is always well worth the drive. For the extra few minutes in the car you can get phenomenal bagels or all types... cream cheeses and tuna salad... and... oh yes, the egg salad. Let's explore their egg salad for a moment: I have a 7 year old son, and as you can imagine, he is picky with his meals and doesn't enjoy a wide variety. But he LOVES their egg salad - and to be honest - so does my wife and I. Not sure what it is - but there really is nothing like it - anywhere. Best egg salad I've ever had. And my son has me get it there at least once a week for him (he often has it on a hollowed out bagel!) Add in the absolutely fantastic staff who remembers me and my son, by name... always has a kind word and a smile on their face. Family owned - not a chain - just damned good food and service. Bagel Man of Merrick - top notch!
